GENERAL
- 11/16/06 - In The Sub. Realms: Monsters sometimes drop items when driven off.
- 10/02/06 - In The Well:
- The Bracelet of Light now gives you a 1% more chance to find each non-ethereal item, and also a 1% decrease to the chance of encountering an imp.
- The Bone Shield now stops 1 more damage per use, and possibly 2 more.
- The Crown of Knowledge now gives 25 to 50 experience a turn, instead of 15 to 30, and also gives you a 10% chance to find a secret passage and avoid a monster you otherwise would have encountered.
- The scroll of knowledge, potion of vitality and elixir of skill now give the equivalent of 1, 2 and 2 more skill points respectively.
- Added the ability to train 10 turns in a row with one click.
- 09/25/06 - In The Journey to New Earth:
- The information about the location you are at has been reformatted, and more is shown about the places you can go from there, to lessen hunt and peck navigating.
- Added a new encounter: A derelict ship.
- If you succeed at talking with pirates, your reward is sometimes much greater, and always a little better than previously.
- If you fail to convert (convert/debate/talk/discuss) an enemy, Humility gives you a 25% chance that they will overlook it and ignore you.
- Encountering space encounters without moving uses fuel now.
- When you can't feed your followers in space, they depart in escape pods, and cause confusion as they go, which causes you to use more turns.
- When in the last stage of the game, radioing the first prohpet for emergency fuel now takes extra turns based on how big your fleet of ships is.
- You get less virtue as a reward if you reduce the corruption in a city that already has low corruption.
- Cities regenerate poverty and corruption at 10 to 20 times their previous rate.
- 09/05/06 - New online game added: The Sandy Wastes.
- 09/02/06 - Added screen shots page.
- 05/21/06 - In The Sub. Realms: When exploring the deep caves or the sulphur vents, you can't get 'a moment of peace'. Instead you get a bag of gems.
- 05/13/06 - In The Well:
- Added an experience bonus for defeating higher strength monsters who do a damage bonus if they win.
- The imp now demands more gold the lower you go in the Well. The demands range from 300 to 500 gold.
- 03/03/06 - In The Well:
- Added an Ethereal Shield.
- Added archetype pictures for encounters.
- 02/28/06 - Added two new options to player accounts: 1) force low turns, which lets you force a lower turn limit per day, so you can play through all turns a day if you like to feel a sense of completion; 2) Force minibrowsing, which reduces the site some for cell-phone or pda browsers.
- 02/19/06 - In The Sub. Realms: Reduced the number of times needed to fully explore a level to 16 from 20, and also increased the fighting bonus you get for the number of monsters defeated to 1 for every 2 from 1 for every 5. Both of these changes should reduce the average number of turns per game, and knock some turns off the best scores.
- 01/29/06 - In The Well: Free heroes start with the same stats every time, so people don't delete and restart until they get stats they like.
- 01/29/06 - In The Ruins of Ashkelon: Every 5 Charisma gives you 5% discount when trading junk for items.
- 01/18/06 - In The Ruins of Ashkelon:
- Added 4 new items: shovel, magic rope, a potion, and exotic herbs.
- The scarab now wants to be dropped at random spots, instead of always at the dunes. It is like a short quest.
- Regeneration now works after an encounter.
- 01/04/06 - Added a 20% discount if you build all remaining buildings at once, if there are more than 2 left to build.
- 01/01/06 - In The Well: Now, if you can automatically defeat an encounter, you do it immediately on the action page, instead of having to go through the encounter sequence, to save some time.
