Goal Establish 20 cities. You start by establishing settlements with 100 Adults, 400 Food, and 300 Junk. Settlements can grow to villages, and villages can grow to cities, when the elders of your tribe go teach there. |
Statistics Year and generation: Each generation lasts 20 years. Then, they grow into a new generation. Omen: The different omens influence the different activies each phase. Some omens mean a higher death rate, and some mean that it is a good phase to meditate in. Some omens also cause additional stress for your settlments. Tranquility: How many turns you get neutral omens. Gained by meditating. People also eat less when they are tranquil. Children: Children grow to be adults. Adults: Adults grow to be elders, and also establish settlements. Elders: Elders are good at teaching and meditating, due to their life experience. Food: Your people eat some each turn, and you need food to help establish settlements. Junk: You need junk to help establish settlements. Settlements: Small camps of people, which grow to be villages with teaching. Villages: Medium sized gatherings of people, which grow to be cities with teaching. Cities: Large groups of people, you must establish 20 cities to win the game. City Stress: The chance your cities (or villages, or settlements) will revert to a smaller size, due to stress. Settlements that are overly stressed are disbanded, but return a small percentage of the resources used to make them. Changes per turn: The column to the right of the column which shows your current statistics shows how much each statistic has changed on the current turn. If it is blank, then it hasn't changed. |
Actions Wander: Meet a few people and have then join your tribe. Meditate: Chance to calm the omens for the future. Elders are the best at meditating, and adults are ok at it. Scavenge: Search for junk and food. Breed: Breed your tribe. Settle: Start a new settlement. Visit: Visit your civilization and see if they have surplus food for you. May increase city stress. Teach: Teach your civilization to promote its growth, and reduce its stress. Recruit: See if there are any people who could leave the civilization to join your tribe. Likely to increase city stress. |
